Title: White Chocolate Crisps

1cButter flavor Crisco
  Shortening
3/4cLightly packed brown sugar
1/2cGranulated sugar
1 Egg
2tbMilk
1 1/2tsVanilla
1 3/4cWheat & oat flour or all-
  Purpose flour
1tsBaking soda
1/2tsSalt
6 Squares Baker's white
  Chocolate coarsely chopped
1 1/2cCrisp rice cereal

Cream shortening, sugars, egg, milk and vanilla in large bowl on medium speed of electric mixer until light and creamy. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture, beating at low speed until blended. Stir in chocolate and cereal. Mix well. Drop dough by heaping spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet, leaving room for spreading. Bake at 375F for 8-10 minutes, or until light golden.
